Critical metal extraction and refining

Red mud contains a suite of valuable elements at meaningful concentrations — iron and titanium in bulk, and critical minerals including scandium, gallium and rare earths.

The process separates these into individual streams rather than a mixed concentrate, so each can be refined and sold on its own merits.

No smelting is involved. We use conventional hydrometallurgy, which keeps energy use, emissions and capital intensity far below high-temperature routes.
