NeoX™ is not a single trick. It is a platform of four capabilities that work in sequence — neutralise the hazard, recover the value, regenerate the chemistry, and valorise what is left.

Alkalinity recovery and neutralisation

The caustic alkalinity that makes red mud hazardous is captured and neutralised, converting a material that must be contained forever into one that can be handled and sold.

Critical metal extraction and refining

Scandium, gallium, rare earths and iron are separated from the neutralised residue into distinct, saleable product streams.

Reagent regeneration (closed loop)

The reagents that drive extraction are regenerated and returned to the front of the process — the part that is hardest for others to copy.

Residue valorisation

What remains is a neutralised residue rich in aluminium, silicon, and titanium — sold to downstream companies for further processing, not stored.
